Due to impending renovation works at the Laboratory, we have suspended our bi-monthly Marine Lab (Half Day) tours. To schedule a tour, please contact our Outreach and Education officer, Ms Priscilla Seah at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for your kind understanding, and we apologise for the inconvenience caused.
Our Half-day Programme introduces you to some of the natural history of St. John’s Island, before stopping at Singapore’s only national marine laboratory. Here you will discover the importance of scientific research in the marine environment and its challenges. You will also learn about our marine park and its value to the research and to our seas.
There is a public ferry service in Marina South Pier available at $18.00 per person for a round trip.
Weekday, departing Marina South Pier at 10am, and departing St. John’s Island at 2:45pm.
Tours will begin at 10:30am and end by 1:30pm. Please note that lunch is not provided on these tours. There are no food and beverage facilities on St. John’s Island.
