Mr. Lim Tzer Shyun

Research Interests:

• Alternative protein sources to reduce fish meal inclusion in aquaculture feeds
• Genetic tools and their applications in aquaculture

Tzer Shyun graduated from James Cook University Singapore with a Bachelor of Science Majoring in Aquaculture Science and Technology (2022). Prior to that, he has experience in managing Recirculating Aquaculture systems (RAS) and conducting aquaculture research trials.

In his current role, Tzer Shyun guides researchers in the usage of SJINML’s Biosafety Level 2 and Animal Biosafety Level 2 laboratories. He aims to support fellow researchers to the best of his abilities, enabling them to wholly focus on their research.
