The marine lab supports modern laboratories outfitted with facilities for biodiversity, systematics, aquaculture, biotechnology, water quality analytical, larval culture, histology and others.

The facility has a modern open-circulating seawater aquaria system, supporting a diversity of marine research projects.

The Research Vessel Galaxea (SR 3049Z) is a 12m work boat, installed with an “A-Frame” and winch along with 600m of steel cable.

The marine laboratory has a range of equipment for both laboratory research and for field use.

The marine station has shared offices, seminar and meeting rooms which can comfortably accommodate up to 50 pax.

Full accommodation facilities including dormitories, visiting scientist rooms, laundry and a fully equipped modern kitchen. The dormitories sleep up to 25 pax.
