FREEZE DRYER

icon-wave

Freeze drying or lyophilization is a process where moisture is removed from a frozen sample via vacuum and a negative temperature collector. Moisture goes from solid to gaseous state, skipping the liquid phase. This helps preserve the cellular and structural integrity of samples.

  • 12 individual port manifold, allows for multiple samples from multiple different users to be freeze dried at once. Ports of 2 sizes, 600ml and 1200ml
  • Protects biological and chemical structure of sample
  • Allows for removal of moisture content of samples
  • Makes samples easier to process/store/ship

What kind of research is applicable / suitable for this equipment?

  • For any user who wish to preserve the biological properties of the product after drying.
