Basic microscope work. Compound microscopes are commonly used in labs where high magnification is required in order to visualise microscopic details (i.e. cells).
Upright and inverted with fluorescence systems from OLYMPUS and LEICA can magnify up to 1000 times with the options of brightfield, dark phase, phase contrast and Differential Interference Contrast (DIC) imaging.
